Coming out of Wyoming, just looking at the magnitude of the rocks reminds us how wonderfully vast and huge our beautiful universe is and we were again wanting to capture the beauty. The tunnels - Gregg loves - are on the way out and into Utah. Alot of this area we have photographed over and over and filled the "my pictures" file on the computer with due to the 10 or more trips driving out to Salt Lake City, Utah for a week trip or a month long with Gregg's job. Wonderful memories and yet the beauty is still breathtaking in person each time. The weather seemed grandeur in the mountains so we captured alot of storm clouds. - Karen
We are a family of 4 living on a small farm in central Illinois. I am Karen, 46yo and sharing my life for 14 years with Gregg, 48yo. We have two "Angels" that have come to teach us so much in this life, Tracy 14yo and Brian 11yo. We moved from the Chicago suburbs 6 years ago to live more simply and and a quieter life. We have both. We raised our own food, organic chickens and turkeys the first 5 years. We no longer share our lives with edible livestock. We currently live with a 12yo gelding named Memphis - thoroughbred quarter horse cross and a 7yo quarter horse mare named Fancy. We have 4 indoor cats, Tigger, Chase, Kimiko and Kenya. Our outdoor cats are Nip and Ginny. We also have a Maltese named Skippers. Our journey to health included making a shift from whole grain foods, to gluten free to a raw/living foods lifestyle. We have experienced huge weight loss, healing illnesses and overall health and energy. We know how foods affect us and we feel great on a live food diet. We are sharing this blog with you as we take our journey further into the raw food world. I hope you enjoy our blog and leave comments if you wish.
